- What is garage sale? How does contractorcorner.com profit from it?
- Garage sale is the chicagoland's leading buy/sell garage sale. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we allow our members to post any household item up for sale on our garage sale for other viewers to be able to view and purchase. Contractorcorner.com does not in any way profit or gain from any item sold on the garage sale. We have set-up the garage sale for our members to make money! Sell as many items as you want, for as much as you want!!
- Are their any commissions or fees per sale?
- No. No fees. No commissions. All money from the sale goes directly into your pocket. Why should contractorcorner.com profit from something you own and your selling? We shouldn't and we don't.
- What can I sell on the garage sale?
- All household items are welcome as long as they are appropriate for the site. Chances are if your item does not fall into one of our categories, we don't feel it matches the criteria needed to be an item up for sale on our garage sale.
- How does the sale take place?
- All sales and negotiating are done between buyer and seller. Contractorcorner.com has no position on price, time, date or any involvement of the transaction. This ensures the sale is of merit and free of fees and commissions.
- Who can sell and buy in the garage sale?
- Only members can place an item up for sale. However anybody on the site can view and buy items for sale. This allows for a greater chance of selling your item and the most competition to get the price your looking for. Remember, there is no bidding, if a good price comes along, you don't have to wait for any other bids or prices to come along. Take that offer and run with it, if you so choose.
- What if my item doesn't receive any response, or I don't like the price people are offering me?
- If any item you post for sale does not solicit the response you were looking for, or price, in the time it was put up for sale, feel free to simply re-post your item for sale with any changes you wish to make. You can re-post your item(s) as many times as you would like.
- How many items can I post at any given time?
- As a member you may post as many items as you want. There is no limit to the number of items a member may post. You can post as little or as many as you have to offer. Please note there is a time limit on each items availability to be sold on our site, but each item can be re-posted upon expiration of the designated time limit.
- Can I change my items details after I have posted it for sale?
- Absolutely! All you would have to do is email us info@contractorcorner.com or simply call us and speak to one of our highly trained and qualified staff members, toll free (866) 532-3779.
